SIMBL is a system add-on that allows developers to inject code directly into applications. This allows add-ons to be built for applications that the developers did not build themselves. If you've upgraded to Snow Leopard, then SIMBL was supposed to not work. Fortunately, the SIMBL devs have created a Snow Leopard compatible version. You can download the latest version here.
For those interested, here are instructions on how to get MultiClutch to work in your 64bit applications. [via]
