If you use the command line often, you might have wanted to run a command as a different user on the machine. For example, you can quit running applications or browse the user's file system.
To do this, open Terminal.app and use the "su" command. For example, if I wanted to use my "coolkid" account, I would use:su coolkid
You'll then need to enter in the user's password.
