I don't know how this works on Apple Keyboards, but if you have an Apple laptop, I'm sure you can relate to having to hold the eject key for a few seconds every time you want to eject a disk. If you aren't familiar with this wait, then you can stop reading this post. But, if you are, your days of waiting are over. Rather than holding just the eject key when you want to eject a disk, hit Option-Eject. This will eject the disk immediately without any wait.
On a related note, if you want to eject a disk while your computer is starting up, press and hold the primary mouse button until the disk ejects.
