Inputting events into iCal is much harder than it needs to be, especially if you want to put something into your calender that is months from now. Fortunately, QuickCal makes this super-easy.
Essentially, QuickCal takes natural phrases like, "Pick up milk tomorrow @ 3pm" and turns them into iCal events. QuickCal is highly configurable and makes iCal a much more useable. Highly recommended!
