When Apple released the MacBook Air they introduced the ability to remotely mount disks over the network. However, only the MacBook Air has this feature by default. MacOSXHints has posted the two terminal commands required to get it working on any of your Leopard installed Macs.
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser EnableODiskBrowsing -bool true
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser ODSSupported -bool true

Once you've run those two Terminal commands, you will need to enable CD and DVD sharing. To do this, go to the "Sharing" preference pane and check the box next to "DVD or CD Sharing". Enable this on all your Macs and you should be able to access the disk drive of one Mac from any of your other Macs.
