If you have one of the new Macintosh laptops with a multi-touch trackpad, there are quite a few uses for it that Apple doesn't mention in the videos. Today I'll be going over all the motions that I know of:
Mail
Swipe Up/Left: go to previous message.
Swipe Down/Right: go to next message.
Pinch: reduce font size.
Reverse Pinch: increase font size.
Safari
Swipe Left: Go back.
Swipe Right: Go forward.
Pinch: Increase font size.
Reverse Pinch: Decrease font size.
Preview
Swipe Up/Down/Left/Right: Navigate thumbnails.
Rotate (Either direction): Rotate image that direction.
When mouse is over thumbnails:
Pinch: Shrink thumbnail size.
Reverse Pinch: Increase thumbnail size.
When mouse is over image:
Pinch: Decrease image size.
Reverse Pinch: Increase image size.
Quicktime
Swipe Right: Move cursor to end of video.
Swipe Left: Move cursor to beginning of video.
(Please note that the previous two will also swipe to the last cursor position. So you would swipe once to go the end, once to get back to the original cursor position, and once to get to the beginning.)
Pinch: Exit Fullscreen
Reverse Pinch: Enter Fullscreen
Finder
Swipe Left: Go back in folder history.
Swipe Right: Go forward in folder history.
When Quicklooking
Pinch: Exit fullscreen quicklook.
Reverse Pinch: Enter fullscreen quicklook.
iPhoto
When viewing thumbnails:
Swipe Up/Down/Left/Right: Navigate thumbnails.
Pinch: Shrink thumbnail size.
Reverse Pinch: Increase thumbnail size.
When viewing single image:
Pinch: Decrease image size.
Reverse Pinch: Increase image size.
Rotate (Either direction): Rotate image that direction.
Swipe Left: Go to previous image.
Swipe Right: Go to next image.
iCal
Swipe Left: Same as Cmd-Left_Arrow. Go to previous Day/Week/Month.
Swipe Right: Same as Cmd-Right_Arrow. Go to next Day/Week/Month.
Global
Four Finger Swipe Up: Exposé to Desktop.
Four Finger Swipe Down: Exposé all windows.
Four Finger Swipe Left/Right: Bring up application switcher. (Then use your mouse to select the application you wish to switch to. Alternatively, you can use a two-finger scroll combined with a four-finger tap to select applications.)
If all of these gestures are not enough for you, Mutliclutch allows you to assign gestures for keyboard shortcuts in Cocoa apps. (I set Swipe Up/Down to switch tabs in Safari.)
Finally, if this list is missing a gesture, leave a comment and I'll add it in.
Update 2/10/09: Added four finger application switching. Added iPhoto. Added iCal.

Thanks! I can't believe I forgot iPhoto!
Actually you don't have to use the mouse to select which application you want to switch to. You can use four fingers tap to select. Much faster way =)

or is it oly for safari ... like in apple softwares only ... ???
thanks ...
Safari has to have three fingers swipe right and left to go page back, and forward.
