One of my favorite features in Afloat 2 is "Show Window's File in Finder" (Cmd-Ctrl-Up_Arrow). This feature allows me to jump to a file I'm working on in Finder without having to do a search for it, or navigate to it by hand.
If you're usually using the mouse anyway, there's a convenient way of doing this without installing Afloat 2. To do this, go to the little icon of the file at the top of the window in the middle. Now, either right-click or Cmd-click on the icon.
This will bring up a little contextual menu with a link to every folder that your file is nested in.
So, if your file is on your desktop, your contextual menu might look something like this:
From here, you can choose where you want to jump to. If I selected my desktop, then it will open up a Finder window at my desktop and the file will be selected. If I select my home folder, then it will open up a Finder window at my home folder with the Desktop selected.
While this isn't as convenient as a keyboard shortcut, knowing that I can do this on any mac computer I use is very convenient.
