tell application "Screen Sharing" to activate![]()
One of the new features in Leopard is the integrated screen sharing. While it has been possible to screen share (or VNC) with past versions of Mac OSX, Leopard now includes a VNC client with Leopard: Screen Sharing.app
Screen Sharing.app is not in your Applications folder like you would expect. It's actually in /System/Library/Coreservices/Screen Sharing.app.
Many people have suggested that instead of navigating to that folder every time, you simply put an alias to Screen Sharing.app into your applications folder. The problem with this though, is that if you do a spotlight search for "Screen Sharing", it may or may not be returned as the Top Hit.
As a solution to this problem, I wrote a very simple applescript to launch Screen Sharing.app:
I've compiled this and saved it as an application (with the screen sharing icon and an alias arrow) so that you can simply download it by clicking on this link.
