Brian L. pointed out to me yesterday that the Quick Look window has some very interesting properties. Namely, you can activate QL, then, click on other files to QL them. So, rather than select some files and scrolling through your selection, you can actually click on different files without having to activate QL multiple times. I would also add that the QL window has some location memory. For example, if you move the window up to the upper-right hand corner, the window will be there next time you activate Quick Look.
Thanks Brian!
