So, you're in a meeting and you're working on something on your mac. You mess up on a key command and your computer makes an alert sound. Everybody stares. Well, to avoid this situation, you can merely turn on screen flash. What does screen flash do? Well, whenever your computer plays an alert sound, it flashes your screen white. Now, you can mute the volume. But, when you mess up on a key command, or receive an email, you'll be alerted visually rather than aurally. To turn this on go to System Preferences>Universal Access>Hearing.
PS: Did you know that tomorrow's September? Which means that we're only 1-2 months away form Leopard! Woo Hoo!
